Focus and Scope The S3R Journal of English Language and Education is dedicated to publishing high-quality research covering all aspects related to the English language and Education, with a primary focus on the following core areas: English Linguistics: Covering phonetics, grammar, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, cognitive linguistics, and corpus linguistics. English Literature: Including literary theory, critical methods, studies of classic and contemporary works, and interdisciplinary research related to the English language. Translation Studies: Exploring translation theory, practice, and interpreting techniques specifically related to the English language, particularly in multilingual settings. Applied Linguistics: Focusing on the application of linguistic theory to the teaching and learning of English. This includes second language acquisition, language teaching methodologies, teacher training, language testing (such as TOEFL), bilingualism/multilingualism, cross-cultural communication, language policy, EAP (English for Academic Purposes), ESP (English for Specific Purposes), discourse analysis, and critical discourse analysis (CDA). English Teaching and Learning: Emphasizing innovative approaches to teaching and learning English as a second or foreign language, including curriculum development, pedagogical strategies, assessment techniques. This area also covers classroom practices, instructional design, and the application of technology in English language education.
