The Indonesian Journal of Sharia and Socio-Legal Studies is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish works on issues concerning Islamic law and society in Indonesia and other Muslim-majority countries. It is broadly defined to encompass research that significantly contributes to the understanding and analysis of Islamic law as a system of social institutions, processes, practices, or techniques, utilizing methodologies and approaches from the social sciences and humanities. Its goal is to disseminate original research and address current issues within the field.
