Journal Description | Karaelmas Journal of Social Sciences (KARES), which is published twice a year within the body of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, aims to convey original and high quality research in the field of social sciences to society, especially in academic circles. It aims to provide an environment for national and international access to research that will contribute theoretically and methodically to the field of social sciences by including the studies conducted by researchers who are experts in their fields. In line with its mission, Karaelmas Journal of Social Sciences brings together studies in different disciplines and, in this context, scientific subjects in sub-fields of social and human sciences, such as history, Turkish language and literature, archeology, sociology, psychology, philosophy, public relations, media, communication, and cultural studies. It includes original, national, and international research articles that examine problems and offer solutions to these issues. The primary language of the journal is Turkish, and studies written in Turkish dialects and English are accepted in the journal. The articles to be sent to the journal must not have been published elsewhere or sent for publication. The authors should subject their work to plagiarism detection program control and upload the results to the system.
